Short but sad and happy update: a number of you already know. 1 of my 2 cats died april 4 , It had a Huge impact on me. ( he drowned in a rainbarrel in the garden at my neighbours ) Normally the thing is closed but that day they had no cover on top off because they cleaned it. Its a big rainbarrel and it was filled 3/4 with water so Pimmetje on his normal route from the Fence/pallisde jumped on it and had no chance to get out.. Its so sad, as i type it now tears are falling again.

So Felix was on his own again but recovered really fast ( about a week)

I was at a lot of animal shelters to find another cat again who would match with me and Felix. I couldnt find one. I was looking for a "helped" male cat age about 5-7. Red ore black.

Wednesday i got a phonecall in stress from the daugter of my best friend. She had 2 cats a male and a female Brother and Sister ) and her male cat died (: and the female cat who was very close to her brother had completly lost her normal behaviour. Also this girl just about 3 weeks ago brought a very goodlooking twin baby ( 2 baby girls ) on Planet earth! She lives in a very small place and at this moment we have a heatwave in The netherlands 32/35 degrees celsius, Itw as no option for her to stay at her place with the twin babies so she went to her father ( who lives close to me and is my best friend) She wouldnt let the cat in the house for more as probably 7 8 days so she also took the cat with her. ( From her place to her father is about 200 miles ).

BUT BUT BUT her father and his wife live in a house with 2 Staffordshire bull terriers, and 2 cats. The cats were there already before the dogs entered as puppies.. and what they were affraid of happened. The dogs didnt accept the cat and they were afraid the cat would be killed.

So they put her in a tiny place , wich is very warm. no windows, no people temporarily and had to find a solution.

So i was called and i stepped in on condition if it was not a match she would take her back and find another solution.

so wednesday at 17.00 they were here with "Diewertje"

She is a Tortoise coloured cat with calico cat colours on her belly and feet. She is sterilizes, chipped, and treated for fleas, worms and ticks.She is 2 years and 4 months old.

The agreement we made is that if it was not gooing at my place i would keep her for a week ( ore more if needed ) and everyone would search for a solution..

BUT I AM IN LOVE ALREADY with Diewie!! ( i call her Diewie).

I get loads of hugs from her, she is purring and purring.. She eats OK drinks OK found the cat toilet. and within 1 hour she was relaxed again! ( i used feliway spray also ).

Then Felix entered the room.......... Felix had no problem with Diewie But as a good cat lady should do she denied him ( Lol ) and made a lot of aggressive sounds.. So felix tail went 3 times normal size and was wiping in a fast way, the ears went flat and i thought Ow this is gooing not good! so i trew a book between them. Smiling that did help.

The problem also was hat i had 3 nightshifts and after shopping at wednesday morning i was home at 09.00 and i was in the garden until 15.00 so i didnt get to much sleep. Actually none at all in 34 hours...

But having Diewie at my place now and the way she was acting with and without Felix i decided to stay awake. So i watched Spain/Germany and kept a very close eye at the cats.

Felix didnt show any aggression anymore and Diewie was gooing more quiet each hour.. So i went to bed at 02.30 (it was thursday night already And i let all the doors open.. i thought i could take that risk

well i better not have done it i was made awake by sounds of a cat fight at 03.00 ( Grin) Diewie was in the window ledge making cat war sounds and Felix was staring at her.

So i stayed awake again until 05.00 and then i couldnt stay awake. So i let Diewie in the living room with water and food and a cat toilet, and i had Felix in the other part. Felix always sleeps with me on my bed if i go to sleep, and i have 4 bedrooms with 3 always open.

Now its still not gooing very easy but its gooing much better. Felix did accept her ( i am sure ) I speak cat language ( grin) But Diewie is still a bit stressed and affraid if Felix is in the room. But its gooing better in a real fast way!

If i sleep ore work ore not at home I still give Diewie the living room and Felix the rest of the house and during the day the garden also.

Its not to brag but just info, I have a pretty big house ( living room is 11 by 5 with 4 big windows and sun from about 10.00 until sundown( I have 4 bedrooms 2 upstairs to downstairs so Felix also has plenty of room if they are separated. The garden is about 100 meter x 30 meters.

so there is plenty of living space for the cats.

At this moment as i type Diewie stopped making grumble sounds and is in the chair next to me and Felix is on the couch. They are very well aware of eachother !!

I talk a lot with both of them and play with them First Felix then Diewie so they both see i love them and give attention to them. It seems that they will accept eachother very quick now and will become a pride of 2 together.

OK here she is! Diewie! The best birtday present will be if today Diwie will decide Felix can be trusted and she will accept him.

I heard that Ronnie James Dio pasted away yesterday. I will never forget his voice!
I still play "Catch The Rainbow " a lot when he was in the band Rainbow with Ritchie Blackmore and Cozy Powell.

So i guess Cozy is playing drums now in heaven and Ronnie sings. It was Great Thank You Ronnie!

Hi all my old WE friends:

Its been a while since i was here. I got a new password so i finally can re-enter again ( On Chat also)

Ive been to hard times (: I lost 1 off my 2 cats (Pimmetje drowned) its so sad.
Felix is still with me but he is still searching.

So i am on a quest to find another cat that i can give a warm, tender house with a lot off space, affection and love.

I again wish to Thank everyone that has supported me! THANK YOU! it was so nice and really helped me!

I * Might * have found a new cat which would probably match Me and Felix, and i am gooing to meet her tommorow . She is in an animal shelter now.

Short Update: I was without an internet connection last 2 weeks (: ( I tried to change from my provider to a new one that offered Phone, Television and Internet all in one. I wish i never did, I lost everything.

I am restored now at my old settings.
