Hi Gazzo.
The volunteer cameraman at the Pond today said Mashatu got over 180 mm of rain in two days over Easter. That is amazing. I hope it was beneficial for you and didn't cause any serious problems.

Hi Gazzo. Wow! You have been getting major rains, haven't you. Wonderful!

Gazzo, it rained for 2 hours tonight at the Pond. Isn't that wonderful! I looked at the weatherunderground site, and it looked like your whole area got good rain. Hope it continues all week as they are showing that as a possibility.

Hi Gazzo, Hope you are well. Can you tell me if the Limpopo River has dried up or is it still flowing? I was wondering how dry things are around the Pond. There must be something wrong with the pipe that brings the water to the Pond. It is so low that it is sad.

Gazzo, I'm so happy you are able to watch again. The leopard sightings have been wonderful lately.

Gazzo, I'm so sorry you can't get the cam anymore. Do you think it is an internet issue or something with their player or Flash? Have you tried to watch on Justin.tv? Maybe the new website Graham keeps talking about will make a difference. I'll be sending positive thoughts that you can view again soon.

HI gazzo.
Have you heard that Afke is leaving Pete's Pond at the end of January. I am so sad.
If you are on Facebook, here is the link to the thread where she announced it.

Hi gazzo. Thanks for the reply. The Pond came back online a few hours ago. Afke said the rain and humidity caused most of the problems. She also said they think a meteor hit somewhere in Botswana. She was woken up by the crash. Did you hear it?

I hope the rains brought relief and not bad flooding to your area. Saying a prayer the rains will continue steady but soft through the season to help all the farmers and wildlife.

Hi gazzo,
The Pond has been off-line for several days, and the Hide hasn't had access to the internet. Hope everyone is ok there. I'm sure the recent rains are bringing comfort to your area.
