I love Music! Most time I listen metal, but no worry, I am (normally) a nice guy. My favorite bands are: Vinterriket, Empyrium, Agalloch, Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Opeth, Soulfly, Machine Head, Ektomorf,...

I also like freeskiing (just amateur) and mountainbiking!
I also love photographing. I am no professional, I even don't have a special camera, just a Nikon Coolpix with 4 megapixles.

But this stupid thing brokesa while ago...now I got a little bit better one...A Canon Eos 450 DSLR...Great thing...but I still have to learn how to figure it perfect...^^

I shot ca. 900 photos now...but just 10 % of them are "good"...Here`s my Photostream:

But there are the animals I love most!
I want do something for them because I hate the abuse that humans do to a living creature!

I especially love leopards.
The mysterious lifestyle of this great cat fascinate me.
I start "studying" them 5 years ago. But they suprise me everytime for a new...

danke für deine Antwort. Ich habe mir die Links alle angesehen und ich werde mich wahrscheinlich bei flickr anmelden.
Hier bei WE finden meine Fotos nicht so den Anklang, sind scheinbar nur WE Fans mit ihren geknipsten Fotos von den Game Drives und den Wasserlöchern dabei.
Ich stecke natürlich jetzt schon in Reisevorbereitungen und die Tage vergehen schnell.
Kenia solltest du einmal besuchen und in die Masai Mara fahren. Du wirst begeistert sein. Schau dich mal um auf dem folgenden Link um, bei diesem Projekt war Jonathan Scott auch dabei. Simon King konnte ich persönlich kennenlernen im Governors Camp in der Masai Mara. Die Website ist sicherlich interessant für dich - viele Infos und Videos.

Habe dann gestern EMC in deutsch geschrieben und eine sehr nette Antwort bekommen

Hi EmC,

es ist für mich leichter in deutsch zu schreiben.
Ich bin immer in Kenya und wohne in einem schönen Hotel. Ich habe mein Berufsleben hinter mir und ich reise jetzt viel.

Das Hotel heißt http://www.baobab-beach-resort.com und von hier aus mache ich meine Safaris.
Letztes Jahr war ich im April für 15 Tage im Samburu National Park, Aberdares, Sweetwaters und Mount Kenya.
Im Dezember 08 und im Januar 2009 war ich in meinem Lieblingspark der Masai Mara. Dort traf ich viele, viele Tiere und konnte auch hier viele schöne Fotos machen.

Am 18.April 2009 fliege ich mit Freunden schon wieder für 3 wochen nach Kenya.

Dort siehst du Shakira wie sie von der BBC fotografiert wurde. die Website ist sehr interessant.

Ich verstand alles vollkommen. Wie wunderbar, dass Sie nach Kenia am 18. April gehen werden. Sie müssen so aufgeregt sein, um noch einmal zurückzugehen.

Ich habe das Programm von BBC Große Katzen beobachtet. Ich dachte, dass Shakira zu mir vertraut war.

danke für deine Antwort. o.k. schreiben wir uns du, wie es eigentlich im Internet üblich ist.
Ja, vielleicht kannst du mir helfen. EMC meinte ich solle eine HP estellen oder bei WE Blogs erstellen..
Da bin überfordert, da ich erst vor 4 Jahren mit dem Computer angefangen habe. Bearbeite zwar meine Bilder mit einem Bildbearbeitungsprogramm, mache Foto- Ausschnitte und bin sogar in einem deutschen Fotoforum, wo sich viel Fotografen tummeln.

Bin froh bei WE die Fotos hochgeladen zu haben, die sich aber bei WE so ganz abheben, da nur Fotos von den Game Drives eingestellt werden.
Da ich jetzt 9 Wochen in Kenya war, habe ich einfach mal versucht einige Bilder hochzuladen von meinen Safaris. Sie habe für mich jedoch schon ein gutes Feedback erhalten.

Was meinst du zum Vorschlag von EMC oder sollte ich das besser beim Fotoeinstellen belassen. Ich denke, wenn sich Personen für diese Art von Fotos interessieren können sie sich ja die Fotos ansehen.

Bin mal gespannt auf deine Meinung als Fachmann! Du scheinst ein sehr engagierter junger Mann zu sein !

ja, habe schon versucht Karula am facebook zu gratulieren - es wurde leider weg gefiltert! anscheinend persönliche kommentare sind dort unerwünscht, aber das ist auch irgendwie verstandlich.
habe manchmals gemischte gefühle wegen facebook... einerseits ist es wirklich toll, anderseits verbrauche ich viel zu viel zeit dort! lol
hoffe du machst weiter mit deine videos und fotos!

ILP in the USA




Along came Deb Weston.
We've been hoping to find someone to help with our social networking in the USA for a while, then along came Deb Weston.
Deb has been a supporter of the ILP for quite a while and came over to meet the team in Africa a few weeks ago. I'm pleased to announce that Deb has graciously offered to assist with social networking and fund raising for the ILP in the USA. So if you are in the USA, get in touch with Deb and let her know you are out there and care for the plight of wild leopards.

As most of you know, Kirsty Lynas has been working hard on social networking for the ILP in the UK ever since she finished her five month spell as a volunteer with us earlier this year.

Kirsty is continuing to work for us from the UK and co-ordinating with Deb who will cover the USA. Kirsty is also now managing the ILP membership scheme. All of those who have joined so far will be able to receive insider knowledge from Kirsty on a regular basis.

On that front, we need more folks to join the ILP membership scheme and soon, if we are to have any chance of saving the lives of Leopards. Sound dramatic? Well, a leopard was illegally shot this week and we were unable to prevent it.
That's one less leopard in the rapidly diminishing gene pool. If we all don't act soon there will be no leopards left in wild area's. That's no idle statement, our model shows a huge decline in the wild population. The genetic tipping point will come very soon, after which there will be no recovery. Please join the ILP membership scheme, we need your help.

I want to walk into the office of the CEO of Mpumalanga Parks Board next week, armed with your support and confirm our help to prevent senseless killings of wild unfenced Leopards throughout the province.
Next year will be our ten year anniversary and the biggest yet for the ILP. Provincial authorities have no funds or people to tackle the issues at hand and have asked for our help. We must act now to conserve the dwindling leopard population. Time is slipping away, but we need funds to tackle the problems and mobilise a team. That is why we have put together a membership scheme. Please make a small donation (your choice, but please don't hold back), and become a member of the ILP. You'll receive regular updates from the front line of wildlife conservation and a voucher worth $380 which you can redeem against a 2010 Wildlife Safari with On Track Safaris.
