09/11 0934: Telkom cable breaks caused Djuma stream outage

Update 1600: Join us for the PM drive. 06/10 1038 CAT: Telkom line down

Update 1645: A backup is available now at http://www.wildearth.tv/testflow . Telkom expects to have the system fixed by mid-afternoon tomorrow. 10/09/09 2135: Jigga overheating problem update

13/0909 1213: Did a half hour test drive. Temperature seemed fine!!! Streaming problems

28/7 Telkom still seems to working on the cable and we are currently totally without a connection for our stream. We are checking what their plans are and will keep you updated.27/7 0700: We have managed to get streaming again even though it is with a reduced quality. We hope to back fully sometime today. We are also trying to get the archives back up.25/7 2200: No real progress on the problem. We're keeping on it but are not finding much joy with Telkom. Maybe tomorrow will be better.25/7…See More

My favourite bird

Yesterday Bev asked me to share my favourite animal or bird. As I'm an avid birder, I'll start with the feathered one. Afraid not, Peter. It's an organized tour, and we will have 3 days at Kruger... staying at the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate, and going on safari with them, but I have no idea how close that will get us to Djuma. Hubby is not into Africa like I am, and this was the best way to drag him kicking and screaming to one of my dreams. lol Maybe I'll make it to Djuma one day with one of my gal pals from Facebook. :)
