The reality of life and death...

The sight is mesmerizing... the reality of life and death. The prey lay still and warm, its life.... over. The struggle between predator and prey plays out in a raw, graphic drama that holds my gaze and makes me stare in stunned silence. I am in awe of the scene so intense and violent. Sorry.. I just saw your comment. The bright red bird is a Red-headed weaver bird. I took that shot before I was a member of WE, and posted it on my MySpace page. He is a beauty, but all the weaver birds are!

Great photos LadyHawk. :) And I see how you come by your name, it sounds like a very interesting job. Are you a writer too? if not you should be.
Five cats? Awesome, I wouldn't mind having more but hubby says no and my three probably wouldn't go for it either.

I have snap but have not quite mastered it yet! Im a newbie. I may actually go and purchase a software program for capture/video. Try them out as demos off CNET or Tucows first.
FRAPPS does wierd things to my computer. Snap seems to capture a less grainy picture?
I like the impala pic becasue we dont often see large groups and when you do it really gives you that romantic feeling of Africa ;) tonight I will try out snap I may need some advice! cheers
