Before we moved on base we lived in a small town Molschbach. Loved it there. The apartment was on a road with only a few houses and old farm on the left. An old lady the kids called Oma lived there and they use to go visit her. The road ended into a walking path through the forest. I do remember the old NCO club, was down by the post office. Funny how memories bring things back. We had about a 20 minute drive also from the base to Molschbach.
Hi Kim...wow, you were at Sembach too? Small world!! We were there 80-83. When we first got there had a small old commissary but they built a new big one so didn't run to Kaiserslautern to their commissary after that. Beautiful countryside around there! My kids were all in the elementary school while there. Did you live in the apartment buildings? We lived in the one near the beauty shop. Course not sure that would have still been there by then.
