Hello Erica. How lovely to hear from you.
Hope you have a great Christmas, and a very Happy New Year.
I am on Facebook too - Name Pauline Mary Finch-Lea, though I am hoping to change my I.D. on there soon to 'Mary Lea' if they accept that name!! lol.
Hope you are keeping well.  Have you been affected by the snow and icy weather we have been having?
It has now thawed here in the South East, and there was a beautiful sunset this evening, so hope that promises a good travelling day for anyone meeting up with their families and friends.
How are you spending Christmas?
I will be here on my own, with my lovely elderly cat to keep me company.  Am spoiling myself with a 'duck and plum sauce' meal, and key-lime pie for dessert - I do not like mince pies, christmas pudding, or anything with dried fruit in it.
Thanks for getting in touch.  It is good to hear from you.
HUGSsss

HI Frances - No I'm sorry but I haven't heard anything from Bluebird as I haven't been around for several weeks now. I've had 'flu and so has my partner so I've been otherwise occupied!
My daughter Lara may know something, if you leave a message for her.
Sorry I can't be more help.
Take care

Hi Frances! Glad you and your husband are enjoying WE and learning about the lions in the area. Dozie hasn't been seen for a number of months now. No confirmation that he is dead as he may have just been pushed off by other males from the pride. The Nkuhuma pride itself have been keeping more to the North and East (even venturing into Kruger) in an attempt to keep the remaining cubs safe. They have ventured back into Djuma not too long ago. Reports of 5 to 6 of the lionesses with 5 to 6 cubs have been reported. 2 lionesses have been seen on their own and mating with the Manyeleti males. One of the surviving cubs apparently was killed by the Styx pride a few months back when it was separated from the pride and blinded by a spitting cobra. :( Such a beautiful pride. Hope they can pull themselves together and survive during this uncertain time. They once numbered 9 lionesses, 20 plus cubs and 2 of the most beautiful Males you would ever want to see... Blondie and Dozie.

The Mystery of Discipline

Self-discipline is often estimated as an important component to be effective - be it research or profession or personal life. The traditional concept of discipline seems to be deceiving.
