Many years ago as a Voluntary Counrtyside Ranger in the UK, I was angered and horrified at the local Coucil allowing Mountain Bikes, Motor Bikes and Off Road Vehicles ( ORVs ) On the the area that I was working in.

This morning Karula was sighted!

Word spread and vehicles containing excited humans converged on her.



Many people in chat expressed concern that she was being upset. The thought crossed my mind too but looking at her behaviour she appeared relaxed and quite natural.

Kaiser explained that only 3 vehicles at a time could follow the leopard. Well done managers of the reserve! A rule that is sensible and sensitive to the animal's wellbeing.
