Thanks for the response, Aquila. I have no problem waiting as long as necessary. I was just checking to be sure that everything will go through. I don't know how Graham and Emily keep up with all that is going on. If it we me, I would be on 24 hour baby-watch. :)

Hi Pat and Thank you! I will send off an email to Graham and see if we can get an update on the donations received so far. If you want to wait until tomorrow.... maybe it will be claimed by then. I figure too that Em is quite busy these days. LOL

Hi Aquila and all WEAngels.

I sent in a contribution via Pay Pal on the 11th, and it hasn't been "claimed" yet. The last time the contribution was claimed within 24 hrs. Do you think they are only checking once a week now, or do you think I should be checking with WE about it? I thought maybe because Emily is busy with the baby, they might not be have as much time to check things out. Or maybe I should just chill out. :)

Hi Angie! No cut off date has been announced as of yet so I think there will be plenty of time for everyone wanting to donate to do so. :)

Is there a cut off day that the money should be in by? My family & I donated to take the kids to the movies trip and we definetly want to donate to Christmas in Dixie.
Just have to wait till pay day :o)

I'm sure many people here work in offices where this time of year some well-meaning soul starts organizing the annual SecretSanta/gift exchange for the office Christmas party. Maybe if the suggestion was put forward that everyone chip in what the limit amount for the usual coffee mug/decorative candle/desk calendar/other useless item and donate to this cause, people might go for it. Those that really want to do the gift exhange could still do so, but I know I would far rather put my money towards something like this.
