Your Story: How did you find Wildearth?

I had posted a blog asking how everyone came to become a member of Wildearth. Linda a.k.a Mother Nature and the moderators thought it would be a good idea to post it here for everyone to join in!
So tell us your story.

My dad was watching the sidney eagle cams and elephant plains. When I got high speed at my house my children and I started watching as well. When you click on archives for the eagles you are redirected to the wildearth website, and thats how I discovered all the wildearth channels! Our time change is 8 hours but we watch when we can! Thanks.
That is good Lisa, the best way to start before joining WE is to watch and look then the chat i thought what a good bunch of people they are then i registered , i have not look back since joining WE super show.

I don't even remember how I stumbled onto the web site - must have been looking for something about Africa or Sabi Sands as that is where I was hoping to go on vacation - what a FIND! The only problem with this site is the amount of sleep I get :). Thank you Wild Earth and now Safari TV.
I got a link from a friend for the Hornby Island Eagle Cam and from there I checked out the Safari page and I fell in love with it. I enjoy safari.tv. It is much more interesting than anything I have watched before. I saw my first leopards today and I am hooked. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity.
I was surfing in net, looking for some information about Africa and saw Wildearth address in a forum, I dont remind which, I really loved the pics and decided to make an account...
Hello all, first of all I am glad I found this LiveWebCam. its brighten up my day almost everyday. I was looking around in the net for Live cams during the soccer world championship and from there I found Ustream first later on Africam etc.....I do not have much knowledge about wild animals but always love nature. I learn now everyday something new and this is what i wanted. Being honest here....I got to be like adiccted now and dont want to miss anything. Now I red blogs on this website also and follow while I am waiting for animals beside the safari drives. It is amazing. I give my respect to the rangers/moderators they do their jobs so very well! Beside of something I do not have to explain is SA an wonderland because of flora and fauna! i am still waiting for the springtime there. I thank all who make it possible to see and learn about!

Hi all. I discovered WE by accident I believe thru UStream and links via Africam.com

I tell ya's, since this past winter (USA), I have become a total addict to WE and the live safari drives. I have met amazing people on the chat, who are most courteous.

I love our presenters for the SC drives. They are wonderful & talented individuals. Feel bad that Patrick is leaving, but hey if opportunity is knocking on the door, the rest is history....

I was never really interested in African Game animals until I found WE. Because of the presenters and chatters, I have found a greater interest in the game reserve at Djuma and the animals there. I have also learned quite a lot from viewing the drives, which is all one can hope for. Education. Thank you Tara, Marc and Patrick. ;-)

Thanks all!!  See ya in the chat room.

~Anthony

That is how i found WE a brilliant live website, have have bought field handbooks the animals and on the birds and wildflowers of South Africa so i can recongnize them, Antony you have become an addict like us all.

Regards Doris Charles

This a brilliant website  Johnny i was here on Pete's Pond about 3 years myself before discovering  Wildearth TV and Africam, a very exciting websites and super webcams,i think i have met you on the chats, im sooner watch and listen to the presenter than chaton the drives i can concertrate on the presenter the chat distracts me.now Pete's Pond chat i will go on not too many chatters and i know the regulars.

Regards Doris

I 'rediscovered' it too, Johnny.... isn't it great?! I originally found Africam years ago, when it was still shots, refreshed every 15 seconds. What a difference now!!  :o)  Being able to join the actual game drives  is amazing --closest thing to actually being there over there.

So, welcome and enjoy!

About a year and a half ago,  a librarian in a small library in Cloudcroft NM, mentioned the website "Sportsmans Paradise" where I found the Nikoro Pan webcam.  I was captivated and waited for animals to show up at the waterhole.  Then one day on the chat below the site, someone mentioned a live safari drive and attached the link.  I went to Safari.tv and was totally hooked. Day and night.  I told as many people as I could but none felt the passion as much as I did except perhaps my mother.    Thanks so much everybody.  Diane
