Hi Timbo,
I re-sized it in the coding so it would show up for you. These pages will not allow photos very big in size to display.
One of my fav leopard pics........captured at Gowrie water hole in late Sept. (27th or 28th) I believe it`s Mufufuyane but not sure.

Hi Greyrose (Cathy)!

I also heard that Safari is/was mating again. Somewere I even saw a pic with her and Mafufunyane mating, but I can`t remember where it was.
You are right, the loss of a cub bring a female back into estrous. But sometimes a female leopard can come into a "wrong estrous" too. This is when a male leopard, which is not the father of the cubs, is in the same area as the littles. The female seduce the male so that he think, when he catch up the cubs, that he fathered them. (This trick works sometimes) But in this chase, I think it is inpossible that Safari get into this "wrong estrous" because there is everywhere written, that Mafufunyane fathered Safaris last cub. This cub, I read in a Forum, was not seen since 14th Jan. :'(
And I also read at the Mala Mala diaries that the Gowrie Male (which I think that it`s Mafufunyane) was seen high frequently mating with an half blind female. :(

Regards, Rudolph

Today, during the PM drive, someone in zap chat mentioned that Mafufunyane has been sighted mating with Safari. I didn't catch any other details but I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything? If it's true, it would indicate that something has happened to Safari's cub which put her in estrous so she could mate.
Rudolph is right. Mala Mala reported Gowrie Male aka Mafufunyane and Safari were seen mating. Penny2 from Africam recently took a photo also of Safari mating with Mafufunyane but also noted Safari looked to have suckle marks. Rather confusing.
Rexon has said that he believed White Cloth had a cub or cubs ~~ The leopard man is right !

Here is a link to photograph of White Cloth & her cub that was taken on February 11, 2009, by 'Roxy B' and posted on outdoorphoto.co.za:
