Great Idea Karen Thanks
Does anyone know the name of the hawk we saw this AM? I have a hard time understanding Rexon sometimes... my fault... not multilingual! LOL Jan called it a "jam-u-gin" and I know I heard Rexon call it a hawk... which would have been my guess anyway, but there was a word BEFORE hawk.
It could have been a Banded Snake Eagle, but I'm not sure.
Hi Emjay,
If it was the one that was flying around and had caught a lizard, it was a Gymnogene.
Thanks Karen... I know that's what the guys were calling it, but Rexon said they had changed the name of the bird to some kind of a hawk.. I could clearly make out the word Hawk, but not the word before that! :-)
k, got ya.. the Hawk name is African Harrier Hawk.
Sorry didn't understand what you were asking earlier.
I am wondering if anyone remembers seeing a Kori Bustard on an evening drive a month or more ago? If you remember that drive and happen to have a photo or video of it, please let me know. Thanks Ann.

This was taken yesterday, and thought you might get a chuckle from the pic.
I'm sorry for the animal he has swallowed. Don't know which animal it is, though.
HUGSsss
