it's in your nature

When you travel to the wilderness of Africa (and you must) and you go out on safari, you will meet people you otherwise would not have. It is the same when you go out on safari with WildEarth.
In the evening we all gather in the boma to meet, eat and talk of what we have seen. The boma is like an outdoor room with a fire in the middle. A place of friends.
Welcome to our boma, sit a while, get to know us ... its in your nature.

Wow - This is terrific! I finally had some time to cruise around the new site here and found this "boma". Looking forward to future chat sessions!

WOW!! This is fantastic - I have been dreaming of something like this. Left SA 12 years ago and am still bush crazy!!! This is what I really neeeed - it keeps me going!! Thanks sooo much! I joined the day the safari drives stopped - my luck - but am waiting for my 1st drive like a kid for its bday present!
Just wondered what happened to the chats in the boma? As it get chillier here in Mud Island (the UK) I could do with a comforting glass of Amarula round the fire and a good old chin wag!

Anyone remember to chuck the wors on the braai? :)
Jayne - maybe you can encourage people to 'talk' in here ??

The 'chat room' which has only been in use a couple of months since it's introduction is where a lot of members 'chat' ..http://wildearth.ning.com/chat..Do come and join us in there - it is 'open' 24/7, but although there ARE times when there is no one actually talking in there, usually someone is around to
chat with most times.
It has been a splendid method of learning more about the members who use it, and we all strive to be as friendly and welcoming as possible.
Hi BB :)

There really is nothing like sitting round the open fire in a boma swapping 'war stories' (i.e. how many lions you saw or how big that fish was that got away - lol) after a day in the bush. Meat on the braai, good company and a glass of something warming - the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day!

But I will pop along to the chat room too :)
Jayne, Think you will just LOVE the 'Fireside Chat' on a Sunday at 7pm CAT (5pm GMT).

The Fire Side Chat show has been running since June 2008. Every night WE make a fire in our camp and the crew sit around and chat while we cook our dinner.

Once a week, on a Sunday night after the afternoon drive at 19h00 CAT (Central African Time) we invite you to join us at the fire. It's an informal LIVE show where you can be a part of our discussions.

Just mail your questions or concerns to fire@wildearth.tv and we will try and incorporate them into the show.

Hope you will be able to attend - it's just 'magic'.
HUGSsss
BB
That sounds wonderful! I'll look forward to Sunday night - should be fun after the miserable weather today. I can pretend I'm sitting under the moon on a hot summer's night :)

LOL

The Mystery of Discipline

Self-discipline is often estimated as an important component to be effective - be it research or profession or personal life. The traditional concept of discipline seems to be deceiving.
