it's in your nature

Did anyone capture the shots of the moon on the morning drive? I'm collecting shots of the moon from the Drives for a project I'm contemplating. I was happy to see Pieter showing a moon shot in the morning drive, but unfortunately, I came home from work today, and had an URL error -- which meant Quicktime (FlipforMac) shut down completely losing both drives.

Project I want to do consists of shots of the moon from WildEarth Drives. The three year anniversary of the death of my daughter's best friend is coming up soon. Allison died very unexpectedly from a burst brain aneurysm. Her Grandmother always sang this one song to her and I am going to put a video of the different moon shots I've captured from the Drives (and any other moon shots from around the world if anyone wants to contribute -- just let me know) to the song. Of course I first have to learn the video editing software, but I thought it would be a nice tribute to a very lovely young woman who our family will forever miss.

I'll also be without a computer for the next week -- so everyone PLEASE capture wonderful pictures and videos. I'm going to miss the Drives. I sure am looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with for the project this week.

Thanks!

Joyce

Joyce, I don't have any pictures from the recent drives of the moon, but I have a few from a long time ago.

Beautiful! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much! I added some of your moon shots. I LOVE your photos -- especially the giraffes :-)
Thanks to everyone who shared their shots of the moon. I had not used video editing software for a very long time (and only used it previously to meet the requirements of a class -- we did not get along very well). My daughter loved the idea of shots of the moon from around the world and convinced me iMovie would have a faster learning curve for this first movie. That way she could use it on today's memory page for the third anniversary of our friend Allison's death.

Again, thank you to everyone who contributed from Wildearth. I know it means a lot to Allison's family.
Joyce, do you still want more? I have some from WE and some beautiful ones from Christmas Eve from Pete's Pond in Botswana. :)
Colleen, I just remembered there is no way to just edit a youtube video -- you have to delete it and start all over and since this video is shared to other sites, I'll have to leave it how it is.

However, if you still want to send me the moon shots, I would love them... I'm thinking of a couple more projects with sunsets, sunrises, and yes, probably moon shots. I love them all.

Thanks.
